Between Sunset and Sunrise (Or, that time I walked around all night with a guy I met online)

When two fans of the film Before Sunrise meet online, life imitates art as they spend the night walking around together.

  1. My school age daughter and and I are divided on this show. She had a smile on her face and was quite taken by the subtle delivery and appreciated the minimalist nature of the show. She would recommend.
On the other hand while I found there were sweet moments, overall too slow for me and I wouldn’t see again.

    • Thank you for providing both points of view! Tell your daughter I’m really happy she enjoyed the show!

  2. This show… I’m not quite sure what to say about it. It’s a love letter to Linklater (say that 5 times fast) that does a good job of making me want to watch the movies again, but it’s not exactly a sexy show, which is a pretty essential element if you’re trying to conjure Ethan and Julie. It’s charming and sweet, well staged, and probably a bit too long. If you’re a fan of the films, go. If you’re not familiar, you should give it a pass and watch the movies instead.
