  1. I was awestruck by the tight precision of Denise’s footwork and her wherewithal to appoint the appropriate flamenco palo/choreography to the story line. Gareth’s guitar playing was exceptional! The ability to weave flamenco together with a Siberian folk tale was pure creative genius. I felt guilty paying such a pittance for such a high calibre show! Bravo!

  2. This is a wonderful hybrid performance combining traditional flamenco dance styles with a timeless universal story. Joni Mitchell was right: you don’t know what you’ve got ’til its gone. Wonderful traditional classical guitar, and all improv. See it and be amazed. Recommended.

    • Please come back!!!
This story telling duo—Electrifying energy, chemistry, drama, sensual and their stamina. Virtuosic Flamenco guitar & footwork. Olé😘! Gracias!

  3. THIS SHOW IS SO INCREDIBLE!!! I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like it since I began attending Fringe in 1988. Such passion and skill. WOW! WOW! WOW!

(Please go to their 11 pm performances if at all possible. Some unfortunate show times in their schedule.)

  4. Denise Yeo is both a talented actress, delivering the story with wit and verve, and a powerful expressive flamenca; Gareth Owen’s guitar work plays off her masterful compass with excellent dynamics. The myth is haunting, the performance moving. Must see.

  5. This show is absolutely breathtaking. You can feel the BC spirit in the room, it was beautiful, and exciting and right at home. The connection between Denise and Gareth is captivating, they pull you in, and you don’t want to leave when the show is over. I could listen/watch them for hours. Music and dance aside, even the story they tell is great, so incredibly empowering. We’re recommending it to everyone we know. Thank you so much!

  6. I loved this show!!! Fabulous dancer and guitarist. So interesting to see how such a deep and expressive story is created with only two performers! Do not miss!

  7. Olé, olé! Totally entertaining performance. Both the storyteller/dancer and the guitar player were fabulous. Dance Denise Yeo was fabulous and so in touch with the audience. The connection between the music, the story and the dance was mesmerizing to say the least. Well worth seeing!
