You’ve Been Served

In this darkly comedic one-woman show, Noemi Zeigler gets served divorce papers on the top of a garbage bin, reigniting her dream to be a singer. A record producer slash spiritual guru leads her on an ayahuasca-fuelled trip in which she joins a cult, gets baptized in a swimming pool and discovers that perimenopause is the new puberty. Instead of finding herself, she finds herself in jail.

“Noemi is in the tradition of the great redhead comediennes like Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett.” — David Ford, dramaturg

“In wild swings between outrage and vulnerability, our heroine gets screwed over really badly — but never so badly that she can’t throw herself into a wild dance or belt out a Streisand number.” – Tim Mooney, award-winning playwright
