Absolutely Not a Cult

Starr Street Productions

John and Jill Hanks live on a farm in rural Texas. After Jill takes an impromptu trip to a commune that may or may not be a cult, John is met with a changed woman and a string of dead chickens. John grows suspicious as Jill maintains contact with the group’s leader, Wade. Struggling to understand the true motivations behind the supposed commune, John’s paranoia boils over when Jill makes a shocking choice with both marital and culinary consequences.

Absolutely Not a Cult is a modern satire attacking the ignorant nature of the American political landscape. In a nation where corrupt politicians hide behind vapid platitudes, so do its citizens. Does anybody actually know what they believe in, if anything at all?
