Hearing Martin tell a story is a transforming experience. On the one hand you’re always spellbound by the tale itself… yet at the same time the rational part of your brain wonders how he can pull off such a rapid fire performance at a still measured pace… add in the fact that he pretty much always has a second show in the fringe and sometimes a third and it just leaves me in awe of his command over language.
This show in particular may be on of my favourites, get an advance ticket while you can.
How one thing leads to another, and a mishap leads to a mystery leads to a murder. The timing, music, lighting, all very much on point, plus the wandering developments and crashing end of a genuine thriller. A one man wonder.
A fast-paced story that hooked me from the beginning and kept me engaged throughout. I didn’t know how he was going to get out of this jam! Thrilling and fun.
