DOG

  • Ross McMillan Again

DOG is a show about dogs and people, how they’re similar, how they’re different. The show considers how dogs evolved from wolves, and the many ways they impact our lives, especially our emotional lives. If you have a dog or had a dog, you’ll still learn things you didn’t know, and you’ll be invited to consider the deep mystery of the bond between people and dogs.

  1. As someone who loves their dog, has loved all his previous dogs, and will likely love many future dogs, this performance hit home with me. It also included some interesting facts about dogs. If you’re a dog lover, this show will speak to you. Even if you’re not a dog lover, it’s a great story to take in.

  2. This show deserved more love. Rough around the edges? Yes. But as a dog lover I laughed, I cried, and I wanted to go home and hug my rescue dog tight.

(Also immediately after the show I got to meet its star, Eddie, out in the parking lot. Very good boy.)

  3. Bad dog. It was an hour of McMillan showing pictures of his dog in a low quality slide show with barely connected stories. There were many awkward pauses, and he seemed ill prepared. Plus, it got quite dark at the end.
