BRAIN

  • Blair Moro

One brain. Two sides. Left and right. Together, they should be a perfect team — but today, they’re a disaster. Left Brain wants structure, order and control. Right Brain wants creativity, impulse and fun. They don’t always agree, but they have to function as one. The problem? Thoughts are misfiring, words are vanishing and memories aren’t quite where they should be. Is it just a bad day, or is something bigger going on?

From Blair Moro (Cabaret of Murder – 4 1/2 STARS), BRAIN is a fast, funny and wildly unpredictable comedy about the mind’s greatest struggle: itself.

  1. Unlike anything you’ll see at Fringe. It was such a perfecly unique way to deliver information that would typically be difficult to receive. Ingenuous and immersive from beginning to end.

  2. Such a fun show! I learned a lot about how brains work, I threw some stuff, and I greatly enjoyed the mixture of dark humor and deeper subject matter. Absolutely worth a watch!

  3. I LOVED this show, lots of laughter was had, the 2 actresses have an infectious energy to their performance that shows their love for the show. Such a fun theme for seeding a genuinely deep and emotional topic that hits you hard when you realize what’s going on. Kudos to everyone involved here! Go see this show!

  4. Brain is another one of my Fringe highlights this year! Holy cow. I loved the audience interaction bits, the colours, the acting, the COSTUMES?? (Especially for Left Brain) and it was so well done in every aspect of the show. Go see it if you haven’t, please!

  5. Truly an enticing show!! The actors’ performances were energetic and thought provoking. Especially loved the audience participation.

  6. Brain was an engaging and high-energy production from start to finish. The audience was drawn in immediately by the creative portrayal of the right and left brain, and their dynamic interaction with the crowd. The two young performers delivered enthusiastic, committed performances that brought their roles vividly to life. The show struck a thoughtful balance between fun and informative, and the fact that it was inspired by a true story added an extra layer of authenticity and heart.
