This high school production of Macbeth already wasn’t going well, but when the dysfunctional cast begins dropping like flies, they are forced to collaborate with an incompetent 1940s-style film noir detective to crack the case. Can this green room full of bickering high schoolers put their differences aside and work together to find out who – or what – is sabotaging their opening night?

This show had me laughing non stop from start to finish! Full of a hilarious cast that embody their characters perfectly right down to small details and reactions. This is an incredibly well written play that reminds me of my high school days and captures the feeling of high school theatre perfectly! Definitely a must see!
Literally the funniest play I’ve ever seen. I’ve gone twice and plan to go again. There are so many funny goofs and odes to high school theatre that it makes me wish I was back in highschool JUST!!! kidding oh my God. The actors are so phenomenal to watch and there are nonstop laughs; the chemistry of the cast is heartwarming and so enjoyable. I would like Chance Lucky to follow me around and narrate my entire life. Go see this play.

A tightly-paced, roaring comedy that kept me laughing until my stomach hurt. Larger-than-life characters and their tangled relationships keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Brilliantly written and performed by a top-notch cast and crew. Love you all!
I haven’t laughed that hard in a dogs age! “The show must go on”kept me engaged and hysterical from beginning to end! Which is very hard with my attention span these days :0 cannot recommend enough :0!!!
This laugh-a-minute comedy follows the misadventures of a high school drama class struggling to put on a (woefully-undercast) production of The Scottish Play, a production which spirals into chaos after someone utters the name of the play out loud and unleashes the infamous curse. With so much going on, it’s hard to highlight any particular aspect, but the extended bit with a 1940s hardboiled detective whose “theory” flashbacks make everyone suddenly start smoking and talking like James Cagney is particularly inspired. My only complaint is that the ending tries too hard to logically justify the plot rather than just leaning into the show’s absurdist energy. A hidden gem of the Fringe and a great palate cleanser after heavier, more serious shows.
This show had me bursting out laughing so many times! Veryyyy much my type of humour: farce, physical comedy, characters being too self aware, all the like. It was such a nice blend of “wtf” humour while also honouring a plot and storyline that had a clear message to convey. The comedy served its purpose and the actors were so committed to their roles. Huge congrats to the writers and director behind this piece!!

One of the funniest shows this fringe! 100% a must see for anyone who’s been involved in highschool/community theatre. I’m really glad this show will go on!
HILARIOUS. Had so many laugh out loud moments. The cast’s chemistry is wonderful, the direction is fantastic, and overall made for a great show.
