  1. Amazing performance! Definitely one of my favourite fringe shows this year, despite having no props and no setting I was fully immersed and able to visualize everything he was saying, just like reading a book! We had so many good laughs, this is a must see! We went and got virgin ginger beers right after the show <3

  2. I’d give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if I could. Been to many fringes in US and Canada over 25 years. An absolute delight by a total pro. Bravo Mr. Gibbs

  3. A mystery At Murder Manor is Fun roller Coaster ride worth the Ticket Price , Last Night Show Sold Out.

  4. I was crying I laughed so hard! This was an amazing one man, storytelling, comedy! 🎭 Gibbs does a fantastic job of weaving in jabs, history and literary/movie references, and audience connections into this wonderful who dun’ it?! I would recommend this show to anyone above teenage age!

    I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My 9 year old, says she regrets this pick 🤣 but in the end she said she enjoyed it enough for ⭐️⭐️⭐️

  5. If you’re into comedy, mysteries, and chaos, you MUST see this show. If you don’t like those things, see it anyway! Chris Gibbs is hilarious, a fantastic storyteller, and quick on his feet, allowing even his fourth wall breaks to keep the audience enthralled in his world and characters. He builds each character to be their own powerhouse of personality, despite all being played by one man. The set is bare, being a single chair, but the vivid descriptions that Gibbs gives throughout the show seem to appear before you regardless. His verbal fumbles prove to be a unique strength — his ability to turn any trip over words into a humorous one off kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

  6. Doyle, Christie, Dickens and Poe as told by an imbecile. An incredibly clever, talented, charming, funny and knowledgeable imbecile. It is funny and delightful throughout, but never becomes parody: Gibbs treats his sources with love and respect, recreating the mood and feelings from some of the best parts of Hound of the Baskervilles, The Mysterious Affair at Styles and Christmas Carol.

  7. Laugh out loud funny with more than enough fuel for belly-busting guffaws along the way. Feeling lucky to have snagged a seat to this World Premiere. You need to see this!

  8. 5/5 stars, we go to his plays every year and they are always excellent. The storyline of this year’s play was amazing. Definitely recommend going.

  9. Very engaging and entertaining performance that was enjoyed by a packed audience. It seemed like many of the audience had seen him in prior years, knew what to expect and were not disappointed! Definitely worth seeing this performance!

  10. A joy from beginning to end. The humour was on point and the audience was along for the ride. It’s not often I cry-laugh; this was one of those moments. 10/10. Would see again.
