I’m not sure what else is left to say about how incredible Chase Padgett is. But what I will say, is that I have been Fringe-ing since 2016, and this is the first show that has brought me to tears. If you haven’t seen this show yet, Sunday is your last chance for this year! I can’t recommend it enough.
Chase Padgett is a great entertainer and well deserves the standing ovations at his shows! There is only one more performance left, so if you are fringing on Sunday, this is an hour well spent!
I’m a big fan of Chase; this guy is Talent with a capital T. Seriously, if he changed his named to Chase Talent it wouldn’t come across as the least bit arrogant, he’s that good.
We had a fire alarm interrupt the show for a few minutes and he managed to even make that entertaining. He suggested, maybe we should get refunds? And I was thinking, no, we’ve already gotten more than our money’s worth…
That was the quickest I’ve ever seen an audience agree to give a performer a standing ovation, and it was well deserved. Great music, fantastic storytelling, and it all came together into a truly heartfelt tale. If there are any tickets left, you owe it to yourself to see this show.
Chase just gets better and better with every new show (I’ve seen them all, more than once) !! He reflects on his relationships, esp with his band teacher mentor, from a very grounded place ~ giving us yet another very relatable and precious layer to the beloved Force of Nature that is Chase Padgett !!
If you have not seen Chase Padgett before, see this show and you’ll become an instant fan. If you’ve been attending his shows year after year, you will be entertained once again.
A one-man guitar show that’s about so much more than guitars: life, parental relationships, and mentors. Amazing vocals and guitar playing. Must see. Five stars.
Fabulous show! Don’t miss it. Incredible music and a touching real life story. Loved this performance!
Oh my god, someone was cutting onions in that theatre. An incredible and heartwarming show with touching personal stories (mostly about his dad and his band teacher) and amazing music. It reminded me of my own experiences in band and about my own dad and band teacher. It hit close to home (in a good way). There are a number of technical music things that other band kids would appreciate, but it’s nothing non-music people can’t handle. Overall an amazing show, do not miss it.
This original honest show has everything: a great story, humour, wisdom and the guitar playing and singing is top notch. There are few performers who can do all these so well.
Do not miss this show.
Another great show by Chase Padgett. It was informative, touching, funny. He’s an awesome storyteller and never fails to entertain. Winnipeg loves him for good reason – he deserves it.
