Divorce Club

  • TBA Productions

Come be a fly on the wall as the women of the divorcee club meet. President Gloria seems consumed by wanting to throw darts at her ex. Vice President Katherine appears to be a little on edge – what has her nervous? Sweet Barbie wants to make the group kinder but what’s she really up to? Meanwhile Carol has a surprise member to introduce. What exactly have these ladies been doing? Is this really a support group or does it meet for more nefarious reasons? Will the new member, with Carol’s help, be able to discover what the club has done? Will they get a confession or is there nothing to confess?

  1. Shannon McCarrol is just incredible as Katherine in this show. She carried the entire production. She does not get enough recognition for her talent, not only in this show, but last year during her role in The Social. Well done Shannon, cannot wait to see your next show.

  2. I saw this show in early afternoon and throughly enjoyed it! Each character was well cast and even performance for all. Appeals to my menopausal brain ! Entertaining and worth seeing.

  3. Very well done. perfect blend of drama and comedy. I found no problem with hearing every line. Very polished performances from the cast. I would give it 4 and half stars.

  4. This poor cast was done a grave disservice by being given the main stage. The cavernous theatre swallowed them up, making them very difficult to hear at times. Apart from that, if you’re a fan of bitter and jaded characters being confronted by their biases and double-standards, and/or if you like the level of off-the-wall twists that Liz Farler is known for by this point, definitely check it out. Just choose your seating very carefully so that you can catch all the dialogue.
