  1. This show balances humor and heartbreak masterfully. The actors are phenomenal and the writing is very clever. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. When I got there, I didn’t have to pay for a ticket because they have decided to give them away for free for their last two show.

  2. This show had me crying with heartbreak, then crying with laughter. A must see!

  3. A complex family story that touches the heart. These skilled actors bring authenticity and humour to the stage. I was kept wondering. Finding Richard Close stimulated good conversation which I feel to be a mark of an engaging theatrical performance.

  4. This show could easily be categorized as a Magic Show as the actors brilliantly transform both set and characters throughout the play. The story gives the audience so much to explore and resonate with. A highlight of the Fringe for me.

  5. Finding Richard Close gives an earnest portrayal of human connection/disconnection. The actors bring believability and authenticity to their roles. The cast’s versatility and creative set design allow them to flesh out the story! The show is funny, but doesnt lose the plot! Well done!!

  6. Enjoyed the play . Good story with well performed dramatic roles . Great comedic character portrayal.

  7. A very polished and rehearsed play from a troupe in Kenora, Ontario. A lovely story with lovely bits of humour and authenticity.

  8. Thoroughly enjoyed this! The cast was fantastic. It was a great story line that kept me curious, it evoked some deep emotions but had just enough comedy in it to keep it light. I will definitely be watching for more of this groups content.

  9. Attended Thursday night’s show and it was great. Wonderfully written- emotionally touching at points, funny at others. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The actors from Kenora suit the characters they play and were fun to watch!
