Moms Moms Moms: A Burlesque Comedy

  • DD Brassiere

Titillating entertainment by two comedian moms turned burlesque performers DD Brassiere (Smut Slam) and Your Mom Kathy (Chubrub). These are the moms they warned you about! After years of telling their children, “You can do anything,” they take their own advice. Perhaps there’s more to life than being the essential cog in everyone’s wheel but their own? Moms playfully shines a light on the critical role, relentless expectations and identity crisis of motherhood.

“Comedy, heart and a lil bit of good ol’ Manitoba nudity.” Jenny Revue

“If you have any doubts that burlesque can be topical, radical and liberating, this show should make you a believer.” Winnipeg Free Press

  1. Intimate and grown-up, with great humor, fabulous burlesque, and a punch you in the chest moment of seriousness that brings it together. These moms rock!

  2. Brilliant & funny women telking stories about being a mom and a little more! Loved it!

  3. I saw this last year and I’m so happy I saw it again this year. There’s new stuff! I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard at certain moments. A burlesque show with humour (but also some powerful, serious moments — one piece opened with a trigger warning) that stayed with me. It’s clear that the performers spoke from the heart.

  4. So much fun! Loved every minute of it. This is the type of show that makes me keep coming back to the Fringe.

  5. Moms Moms Moms is a wild, witty, and deeply moving ride through the chaos and beauty of motherhood. It’s part cabaret, part confession, and all heart. The performers are magnetic—funny, fierce, and unafraid to get real.

They strip down more than just clothes—they bare the emotional weight of parenting, sobriety, grief, and joy. We laughed, we cried- definitely fans for life.

DO NOT LEAVE THIS FOR NEXT FRINGE SEASON!!!!!

  6. Weird humour. Jokes about losing sanity as a stay-at-home mom, bitterness toward their children, and even finding a son overdosed on opioids. If you love your children it can be hard to laugh at. The burlesque dancing was fun though.

  7. Definitely titilating! I laughed, and I cried… what a wonderful performance! A definite MUST -SEE!

  8. I laughed at the wit, the comedy, and the wonderful surprises along the way; I cried at the heartfelt storytelling; and I left feeling enlightened. A must-see show, in my opinion!

  9. A truly wonderful show.. I laughed, I cried and got to see some booties. There’s a lot going on in this hour. Highly recommend it.

  10. An absolute knockout performance, hilarious, and heartbreakingly honest all at once. This is the kind of show that reminds you why live performance matters.

  11. Such a fabulous show. Fun fun fun and also powerful messaging. Highly recommend it. I’m telling everyone that will listen on my social media and in person don’t miss it, you’d be a fool if you did!
