Oversharer

  • Two Bits Productions

When comedian and improviser Kristen Einarson was 28, her TikTok algorithm tried to convince her she had ADHD (attention deficit hyperactive disorder). She brushed it off – didn’t everyone have trouble keeping their life together? About a year later, a real doctor told her she passed her assessment with flying colours and had been misdiagnosed her whole life.

Over 60 minutes, Kristen (CBC’s Laugh Out Loud, Just For Laughs Originals, Club Soda Improv) will take us through what it was like to find out something huge about herself right before she turned 30. Equal parts funny and heartfelt, Kristen overshares it all.

  1. Highly recommend! I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more. It was a great performance with a lot of relatable moments!

  2. Hilarious, insightful, awe-inspiring and genuine. Thank you for sharing your experience in a way that was universally understandable. As a woman who was diagnosed at 43, you poignantly shared a story, that allowed me to be seen. Thank you for the laughter and tears. This is a must see for everyone

  3. Funny, vulnerable, and ever so charming, Kristen shares all in this well-written AND well-performed show. I loved the use of visuals from the often hilarious work of Kristen as a child, giving insights into her origin while adding dimension to the plot. This show has so many laughs throughout, you’ll be caught off guard by the powerful, serious moments. But don’t worry- you’re in good hands.

  4. Go see this show. Kristen is honest and vulnerable giving us insights into ADHD while also being funny. I love this show and would see it again. 5 stars

  7. Excellent show, funny, poignant and truly worth your time to check it out. Beautiful way to give insight to those who struggle with various issues. We all have a story and this one is beautifully told.

  8. To successfully open a stand-up show at 11AM on a Thursday is already an incredible feat, but to keep the (mostly diagnosed with ADHD) audience engaged and laughing from start to finish is even more impressive. Bravo to Kristen and her team!

  9. After watching Kristen’s show I wanted to hug her and call my wife, with adhd. Fantastic show!

  10. Kristen made this show really stand out! The way she tied everyone in and was vulnerable made this show incredibly engaging and I hope fellow ADHD folks and allies will come and support this creator and her work!
