What if female pleasure sparked a revolution?
In 2035, Plan V gatherings have sparked an underground movement reclaiming reverence for the divine feminine. Join matriarch Mama V as she leads a “full sensory fold” meeting while authorities close in.
Through innovative multimedia, O’Brien portrays multiple characters sharing stories of personal joys and griefs around sexuality, creating a world where celebration ignites cultural transformation and pleasure becomes resistance.
This audacious comedy imagines a future where “p*ssy is life,” worship isn’t whispered and women’s bodies are revered rather than regulated.
“Funny, empowering, slightly terrifying…” – BroadwayWorld
“The best lecture you’ve never had. Joyful and captivating.” – Fest Magazine
When this show started, I laughed for about 15 minutes straight, not necessarily because of the content of the show (which is simultaneously gut-bustingly hilarious, infuriating and informative) but because of the incredible commitment to the characters the single actor plays. It was such a joy to watch and I’m a little better informed because of it. *ding*
Fringe Review: Plan V
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Plan V at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival is a powerhouse performance that’s equal parts funny, insightful, and deeply inclusive. From start to finish, MoMA V commands the stage with fierce energy, vulnerability, and a wit sharp enough to cut through societal shame with a rhinestoned sneaker.
This show is a must-see for all — not just for the laughs (though there are plenty of those), but for the message at its heart. Plan V reminds us that there’s great strength in coming together, in creating space for empowerment, and in lifting each other up with love and laughter. MoMA V doesn’t just perform — she teaches, she inspires, and she celebrates every part of who we are.
Let MoMA V take you on a journey to learn to love all the goddess gave you. You’ll leave stronger, prouder, and with a few laugh lines to prove it.
Plan V: The Rise of Reverence is a bold solo show by Eleanor O’Brien at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, blending multimedia, satire, and feminist comedy. Set in a dystopian 2035, it features a virtual support group of women exploring sexual empowerment and resistance. O’Brien plays all characters via pre-recorded video, mixing humor, politics, and intimacy. The show challenges norms with provocative storytelling and unapologetic themes of liberation. With strong visual design and a church-meets-sensual-revolution vibe, it’s both playful and radical. Perfect for open-minded audiences seeking edgy, empowering theatre in an intimate venue. Expect laughter, reflection, and raised eyebrows.
