- Piti Theatre Company
What could be more fun than making up new stories? Dragons, giants, hermit crabs with spaghetti mustaches, squirrels named Sylvester, 10,000-year-old cats… we’ve made heroes of them all. The Story Wizard has lost his tales but runs into a musical being named Laurella living in a giant mushroom who shows him . . . the audience! Stories are born from children’s suggestions and participation onstage. Kids embrace their storytelling abilities, become Story Wizards and get calling cards to prove it.

4 STARS – Patron Review (To Bee or Not to Bee, 2019)
The thing with participatory improv is that it really depends on the quality of the audience. The audience volunteers on the day that I saw the show simply weren’t putting much into it. Your results may vary.
It takes really special performers to be able to take the ideas of a theatre full of kids, weave them into a story, and guide the kids to act it out with them…and these actors do a fine job of it! Bravo!
This was a wonderful intimate experience! The children’s ideas were not only used to help develop and create the story, the children were invited to join in and drive the story forward.

Pure joy to watch the creation take place by everyone who wishes to participate. I laughed to the point of tears . Each show is brand new and a treasure to take in.
