- Rem Lezar Theatre
Guy DeSalle, a disenchanted and overworked middle years math teacher, is unexpectedly asked to direct the local elementary school Christmas concert. Having little experience with 11-year-olds and no real attachment to Christmas, what possibly could go wrong?
From the group that brought Creating Rem Lezar to the stage in 2023 comes this new original work featuring a cast full of talented young performers. Part satire on the tribulations of dealing with a meddling, bureaucratic administration, part A Charlie Brown Christmas, this show will appeal to the young, the old, the young at heart, and anyone who has experienced being in (or has had to endure) a classic elementary school winter concert!
Wow the guy who wrote this was super clever I bet and also it’s legal do they know that can you make sure they know that it’s legal now
such a cute show and well thought out! i always love seeing kids and younger actors pursue what they love! definitely bring your children or family to this one!!
As an educator, this show made me laugh and reminded me of the profession’s best part: reaching kids. The young cast was excellent, with the character Robin being a stand-out for his performance. The role of Ms. Mikayla was also expertly cast, with the actor serving a pivotal comedic role. This show should flood your mind with winter concert memories gone by and your heart with non-denominational cheer.
What delightful chaos this show is. If you like children, if you have worked with children, or if you find the absurd hijinks of children occasionally entertaining, then you will find this show heart-warming and relatable. It made my wife miss her students, and it made both of us laugh, and occasionally sigh from cuteness.
Jam-packed high-energy goofiness from start to finish. Loved it.
A hilarious chaos of a show! Loved it!!
Please disregard my previous post. It was meant for Cactus.
Saw the show on Thuesday. Very heartfelt. A perfect tribute.
Wonderfully performed! My heart was touchef. There is room for everyone at the Fringe….
Great family show! Very charming and wholesome and amateur in the best possible way! Special shout out to the actor playing the EA and the kids playing Robin and Sam. We had a great time!
Such a funny show! It is a must see for anybody who wants a laugh! Great for all ages! We laughed so hard watching this show!
