QUALIA

(in)sight

Join (in)sight tap dance collective in their new Lynchian genre-bending work.
Tap dancer and artist Ella Steele embodies the unconventional narrator and ageless entity “Miss Baby”, as she explores childhood, memory and the human experience.
Based on the new poem HER YOU GOT MILES by collaborator Keegan Steele, this experimental and non-linear piece is told through tap dance, poetry and electronic sound design by David Lafleur.
QUALIA is sure to place you in the middle of a strange, unexpected and beautiful dream.
Playwrights/Direction: (in)sight/Keegan Steele
Performers: Ella Steele/David Lafleur
Theatre Mentorship: Arne MacPherson
This bold work explores its themes with a sense of play/chaos, lightness/darkness, improvisation/structure.

  1. Qualia is a true gem of the Fringe. An incredible story told is such few words. True artistry, emotion, and – for me – laugh-til-you-cry physical humour. Go see Qualia with 3 of your weirdest friends!! Best show I’ve seen so far this year!! You cannot miss out on Miss Baby.
