Eleven Please

Kinetica Creative

Most elevator rides last a few seconds. This one doesn’t.
Eleven Please follows five people with one thing in common… a shitty elevator. Will they manage to survive the elevator and each other? Will this unfortunate twist of fate turn into an opportunity to sort out grievances? Will secrets be revealed?
After their successful 2025 Winnipeg Fringe Festival debut with pool (no water), Kinetica Creative is back with a thrilling new work written by Ryan Osodo. This co-directed collaboration with Rodrigo Cordova and Ryan Osodo creates a show that has audiences laughing all the way to the top.
An absurd genre-clashing ride that you won’t want to miss. Eleven, please!

  1. Based around people trapped in an elevator. Funny, fast paced short comedy that throws five peoples lives together during an ordeal. Rating: Fresh 🍅

  2. Took my friends to their first ever fringe show, so glad this is the show I took them to. They turned to me after the show saying “that was probably the best play I’ve seen.”

The show was packed with just the right amount of humour mixed with the brutal reality of capitalism.

The cast was extremely polished and made the show go by in the blink of an eye. I would have watched again.

Congratulations on the fantastic run! Cant wait to see what comes from Kinetica Creative!

  3. Saw this show on the 24th and it was incredibly thoughtful, funny take on the ills of modern capitalism. The Karaoke scene will be indelibly burned into my mind as one of the best musical performances from Fringe. This show played with the tangible akwardness of being forced to interact with new people in an inescapable situation and had an intuitive understanding of the inexorable weight of a pregnant pause deployed well. 5 Stars

  4. Brilliant show. Great chemistry between the actors. A message of criticism towards greedy businesses is subtly contrasted with loads of jokes, great lines, and even song. Always impressed with shows that are essentially one scene – absolutely commendable for those on stage for their polished performance. Entertaining for young and old!

  5. I laughed so hard, my eyes were watering. What an amazing show, I’m coming back to watch it again!

  6. Such a funny show!! Absolutely loved it. Comedic timing was great, along with the actual jokes itself, loved every second of it.

  7. It’s easy to think, “well what could possibly happen in an elevator for 45 minutes that could be so entertaining” and this show throws you every which way in the BEST way possible.
This piece knows exactly what kind of world they’re building, with fluid transitions between the real world, flashbacks, AND EVEN AN AMAZING MUSICAL NUMBER!!!!
The absurd, almost “campy” vibe hits with every joke and yet it still shares an incredible message about capitalism that is super relevant today. Huuuuge congrats to the cast and crew. The freep review can suck it

  8. “Eleven Please!” features a diverse group of well casted characters, all strongly effective in shaping an elevator inconvenience into a charming story with multiple good messages. There are some really great musical scenes in this show as well! I brought my friend who had never been to the fringe festival before, and she loved it, making this an excellent pick for old and new fringers alike!

  9. It’s wonderful to see young talent developing such an excellent performance in such a short time. The contrasting characters make it fun and very entertaining. The informal nature of the performance, with its good jokes and the freshness of the singing and excellent interpretations, enhances the audience’s enjoyment. Thank you for the simplicity transformed into a great performance.

  10. Went to see this show tonight and it was amazing! Really enjoyed the story line and the comedic timing and energy by the actors. The choreography was smooth and flowed nicely with the cast that made you want to see more. Definitely a 5 star rating in my opinion. Almost a sold out show so I would recommend getting your tickets early.

  11. An incredible show! Full of humour and fantastic twists! What an amazing first ever Fringe Show!
