Viva Dance Company
It’s Just You & Me is a contemporary dance show exploring fluidity of identity; the many versions of self that we all embody throughout life. We continually curate parts of ourselves that we want to keep and shed what no longer serves us. Sometimes reinventions are intentional while at other times, they are driven by circumstance.
In recent years, I have become a parent, navigated the pandemic, acquired two prosthetic hips, loved, lost, thrived, and failed. With every day has come the opportunity and necessity to reinvent myself anew.

An amazing performance by this group of dancers!
I really loved this show by Viva Dance Company! The choreography is stunning and the dancers perform incredibly athletic, difficult, jumps, turns, and lifts for an hour straight. You’ll leave this show feeling inspired.
Walk, bike, drive, RUN to the Forks to see this performance. The partner work is absolutely insane, the dancing is beautiful, the costumes are stunning, and the story told is heartbreakingly powerful. This show is for you, even if you might not think so at first glance.
I loved this show. The choreography showcased the strength of the dancers, with breathtaking lifts and movements. The soundtrack was fitting and the pieces made you feel right along with them as the dancers and choreography revealed themselves. Would highly recommend this show to dancers and non-dancers alike!
