I think this production could be a milestone in everyone’s life.
I already knew most of the people involved. Brian’s writing has an extraordinary impact and is well above the standard of this festival. I was already expecting a strong performance from Duncan and he delivered double that.
I’d seen Jen in other plays before and I thought this was the best work I’ve ever seen her do as an actress. A whole other level.
Sincere congratulations on the performance, because I can only imagine how difficult the process must have been.
Splendid writing to bring to life the voices of those Letters from WW2. Considerably more moving that it was the true letters of playwright Brian’s family.
All the performances were absolutely brilliant, beautiful, touching and gripping. I shed many tears all throughout because of the honesty of those performances and the sadness of the story.
This show is also very good reminder of the atrocities that wars impose on individuals, tearing apart families and causing chaos in personal lives.
Finally, I thought the set to be very simple and yet very efficiently used, no need for more to immerse ourselves into the period (plus tbe costumes were outstanding) and into each side of the Atlantic.
Loved the heart felt performances of the whole cast. Lovely ending😢
Moving play.
That second to last scene… wow. The whole thing was worth it just for that. I’m a sucker for silent performances broken by a good scream! 5 Stars just for that.

It is possible, and often way more moving, to convey strong emotion without shrieking. Dreadful.
This show was amazing. Brian has created a masterpiece based on facts and truth from his family that will resonate with a lot of military families and those who have had and do have people protecting our freedom. It brought tears to my eyes in some spots. The actors were outstanding. I believe that the warehouse theatre should be asking them to put on a production in the future.
As a veteran i was deeply moved by the performance. My family severed in ww2 and 3 of my brothers have served in the military so this meant even more to ne. The actors played there parts likevit was really happening. I would recommend this show to anyone. Fantastic performance and i hope the play goes coast to coast.

I went to see Letters. It made me cry and pulled me into the show. The performers were terrific. Great job to them all.
A beautiful drama, loved it. Made me cry! All the actors were incredible, but man that lead actress is a powerhouse, and absolutely carried. Ran a little long, with some technical tweaks, but it was an opening so that is to be expected. This is not one to miss! 4/5!
