SHORT KING is an adventure about a tiny king with a very big problem – he’s banned shadows from his entire kingdom, and now the darkness is winning. After losing everything he loves, Short King has spent years running from his grief instead of facing it. But when a creeping Shadow Beast threatens to swallow his kingdom whole, he has no choice but to go on the quest of his life.

Part shadow puppetry, part live performance, part royal audience participation – SHORT KING is a wildly theatrical journey through forests, kingdoms and puddles of feeling. It’s a show about what we carry when we lose someone we love, and how one king learns to carry it better.
