More people need to give this show a chance! Dwayne’s storytelling about the human experience is dynamic, fast-paced, and thought provoking. Everyone can find something to relate to in the stories he shares about race, gender, aging, childhood, parenthood or love. Sadly I had to dash off to my next show and didn’t have a chance to complement Dwayne on his stellar performance. So hopefully he sees my review here.
Absolutely stunning and beautiful spoken word magic. Dwayne Morgan’s lyrical ponderings of fatherhood and family need to be heard by everyone, now.
Dwayne wastes no time grabbing the audiences attention with his first poem. You know right away you’re in for something good. You will relate to much of what Dwayne talks about, but will also be humbled to learn about his experiences that differ from your own. This is a must see show, let’s fill that theatre!
What a spoken word performer, what a man. Truly inspiring and moving and funny. Go see this!!!
