A brand-new physical comedy from Trygve Wakenshaw.
New Zealand-raised, Czech-based, Gaulier-trained comedian Trygve has won numerous awards for his many shows, and was nominated for the Best Comedy at Edinburgh Fringe in 2015 for Nautilus.
Wakenshaw’s unique performance style blends mime, clown and physical theatre with innovative character work and visual storytelling. His solo productions — including Squidboy, Kraken, Nautilus and Silly Little Things — have achieved significant international recognition and consistently sold out at major festivals worldwide.
It took me a bit to warm up to this but once I was in it I was in it. Sit in the front row if you want to participate.
This is truly what makes the fringe the fringe! A unique- original- edgy show that is unlike any other that you will see this year. The artist combines comedy- mime- vaudeville- absurd audience interaction into a performance that was full of surprises- visual stunts- audience interaction and his ability to contort his body is also amazing to witness. I have attended fringe every year since 1988 and this one stands among one of the most unique and original performances. It is an experience for sure.
A very fringy comedic break from the real world. The artist blends elements of clowning, mime and physical comedy into an outrageously silly experience where the audience is very much in on the joke. For those who enjoy ‘outside of the box’ humour … Go!
