When the sun sets in Argentina, a new dance emerges. Award-winning dance company PointeTango (Best of Festival, Patron’s Pick, Favourite Dance Show) presents a breathtaking new show where the elegance of ballet meets the passion of Argentine tango.
Featuring 2025 Canadian Tango Champions Erin Scott-Kafadar and Alexander Richardson, this production pairs spectacular acrobatic lifts with cinematic video projections of Buenos Aires. Great dancing – and cool videography. Disappointed to see heavy AI use for this performance. I would encourage all fringe performers to trust the audience can suspend their disbelief and use their imagination, and to craft whatever media needed for their show to the best of their own ability, for artistic and ecological reasons.
After their previous performance at the Fringe, I knew this one couldn’t be missed! This pair only gets better with time! The last dance scene was mesmerizing! A perfect end to a wonderful show! 5/5

This duo is not to be missed! Have see. Them every time they have been in Winnipeg. Absolutely beautiful and technically perfect dancing presented in a dramatic and original way.

Absolutely brilliant. The dancing was amazing & flawless. A definite must-see, especially Erin’s dance moves wearing a stiletto on one foot and a ballet slipper on the other. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
