ERIKA MACDONALD: Tea TIME

Erika MacDonald

“DEFINITELY A MUST-SEE!. A tea party for your soul.” – LCT Review
You’ll chant a lot, cry some and laugh more. Award-winning international artist Erika MacDonald (5 STARS – StarPhoenix, 5 STARS – Free Press, 5 STARS – Edmonton Sun) boils water and makes cup after cup of tea. You’ll whistle when the time comes. (You’ll know.)
“A cross between Mr. Rogers and your wry, slightly chaotic best friend… HARD TO DESCRIBE, IMPOSSIBLE TO FORGET.” – The Sappy Critic
It’s about tea! It’s about time! A THOUGHTFUL COMEDY brewed just for you.

F**k off, I’m steeping.

  1. I really enjoyed this show! Erika’s bubbly personality and attention to detail while making multiple cups of tea ( which she shared) kept one watching, musing and provided a new line for when I want to tell people to go away (F off, I’m steeping) She stressed the importance of finding something that you love doing and how that something can save you.
Saskatoon and Edmonton fringers- you need to see this show!!
    (And now I want a kettle like Erika’s) 😊

  2. This show is odd, but delightful! Erika’s seemingly boundless energy and enjoyment of tea bubble and brew through the show as she makes cup after cup (with VERY specific instructions!) and takes the audience from hilarity to heartache to nothing but the stillness of breathing. She reminds us of the importance of finding the things that make you want to stay alive another day – and the importance of guarding those pieces of ourselves and those moments of peace, regardless of what else life brings.

I left with both my heart and my tummy warmed! (being lucky enough to receive one of the delicious cups of tea!)

“It doesn’t take forever . . . but it does take time!”
