Originally created and performed by Monster Theatre’s Ryan Gladstone, now adapted and given a Métis makeover by Winnipeg theatre vets Katie German, Genevieve Pelletier and Cory Wojcik.
No one in the history of Canada (perhaps the history of the world!) has generated more debate than Riel. Even supposedly verifiable facts elude consensus. His incredible story is shown here like never before – betrayal, insanity, stand-offs, murder, espionage, prophecy and John A. Macdonald!

Fun show! This is the way to entice students to enjoy history. Great stage presence. The performers seemed to really enjoy working together which made it even more enjoyable. Well done!

Absolutely loved it. Such a clever, funny and engaging way to present history. Part song and dance and part poignant reminder of the malleablity of history. Brilliant.
